# Add contacts manually

To pay anyone using Multis, you will first need to add a contact.

This is how we ensure maximum safety when processing payments.

To add a contact, follow the guideline below: 

* **Step 1 -** On the left of the page, go to ''Contacts".

* **Step 2 -** Click on 'Add contact' in the right-hand corner of your screen.
* **Step 3 -** Enter the contact name, the relevant notes, the wallet name (e.g., Payment, Tech), address, and network of the wallet.

Using Multis, you will only be able to link or create a Gnosis Safe on the Ethereum network. However, you can [track wallets on multiple networks](https://multis.gitbook.io/guide-and-legal/financial-backbone-for-web3-companies/tracking-and-bookkeeping/link-your-company-accounts-and-wallets/link-your-company-wallets). \

Adding contacts on different networks won't make you able to pay them on those ones, but will make your transactions history cleaner.

* **Step 4 -** Click on "Save".
